As you know, many charities in the UK are facing unprecedented challenges due to the impact of COVID-19. The Griffin Institute remains fully open and as a front-line research and medical training charity, we need to do all we can to support our colleagues in other organisations to enable them to continue their vital research projects as well as continue our own.
Here are just some of the ways we are helping with the COVID-19 crisis:
- Partnering with organisations working on immunology biomarkers directly related to COVID-19, providing workable solutions as they contribute to the containment and eradication of this pandemic.
- Sharing our resources to help and support the NHS with equipment and consumables for research as we fight together at the very frontline of this global crisis at the Northwick Park Hospital.
- Supporting our local and overseas students, by teaching and supervising their work remotely ensuring they can continue with their research in a timely way.
- We are also actively contributing to international guidelines and educational research.
John Griffin has invested £12m in infrastructure and research over the last 5 years. This means the vital funds we are now seeking will keep the institute open and expand our research and training.
We’re raising £12m to continue to improve and save lives. Please help us by donating online, by direct debit. You can also email or phone us to make a donation through other methods.
We are extremely grateful for your support as always, and we want to reassure you that we are working hard to deliver high quality Research and Training that will have an enormous impact in the medical field and in people’s lives.
